The Club wishes to announce that Chris Anderson has decided to leave his position as manager of AFC Liverpool, to take up an assistant manager role higher up the non-league pyramid.
The Club would like to thank Chris for his efforts and contribution as a player and a manager over the last 5 years.
Chris was brought to the Club in 2017 as a player but soon became part of the coaching staff, taking over the managerial reigns in the summer of 2019.
Speaking of his departure, Chairman Chris Stirrup said, “It is a sad day for me to see Ando leave the Club. Ando is a man of integrity, honesty and decency, he is someone who will always be held in high esteem at AFC Liverpool and someone who will always be welcomed back to us.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, and personally, I would like to thank Ando for his work as our manager and I wish him and his family all the very best and continued success in everything they do”.
Assistant Manager Matt Potter will now be interim manager and a further announcement will be made in due course.
